Wild and Free Wildlife centre is a rehabilitation center for indigenous wildlife. Wild and Free Wildlife centre is a self-funded registered non-profit organisation (NPC 2016/306166/08), we are caring for South African wildlife that are injured and/or misplaced wildlife and are completely dependent on donations from the public and companies. Deidre Joubert from Wild and Free Wildlife centre has opened a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Hectorspruit. She has eight years experience in indigenous wildlife rehabilitation and is also a member of the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Fraternity. Deidre has obtained a beautiful piece of land on the Crocodile River in Hectorspruit that Willie Joubert kindly made available to Wild and Free Wildlife centre. Deidre emphasized that “Rescue, Rehabilitate and Release” is their motto. Deidre hopes to decrease the time between rescue and release by opening this Centre in the Lowveld. One of the center's primary motives is to educate our youth.
